Latest drill highlights come from the South Zone, with gap MA21-070 intersecting 3.4 metres grading 13.3 g/t gold, and three.8 metres grading 5.1 g/t gold. (Widths are reported as estimated true widths, whereas gold grades are uncut.) In the identical space, gap MA21-071 lower 4.6 metres grading 3.7 g/t gold. The South Zone follows the southern contact of the Webb Lake granodiorite inventory with volcanic rocks.
The zone comprises two parallel vein methods inside a construction roughly 25 metres broad that mimics the pattern of a close-by aplite dike, and seems to transect eastward into the volcanic rock bundle for an obvious strike size of 1.5 km to the property boundary.
Beforehand reported drill holes MA20-057 and MA20-070 intersected the gold-bearing vein system down-plunge for an estimated obvious true width ranging between 3.4 metres and 4.8 metres. Extra drilling perpendicular to the vein system is required to precisely outline the width of the vein methods.
An infill definition drill program on the Elbow Zone is tightening the drill spacing to roughly 40 metres (higher portion) and 80 metres (decrease portion), from the underside of the deliberate pit to a vertical depth from floor of roughly 1,000 metres.
The drilling continues to outline quite a few high-grade gold zones inside this steeply east-plunging construction. Latest highlights are gap MA21-063, which lower 6 metres of seven.7 g/t gold, and gap MA21-067, which returned 4.5 metres of 6.5 g/t gold, together with 1.5 metres of 17.7 g/t gold. Near 17,000 metres of drilling continues to be wanted to finish the Part 1 definition drilling program.
Magino is 40 km west of Wawa, Ontario, instantly west of the Island Gold mine, which is 100% owned and operated by Alamos Gold (TSX: AGI; NYSE: AGI).
Along with Magino, Argonaut owns the El Castillo mine and San Agustin mine, which collectively kind the El Castillo Advanced in Durango, Mexico, the La Colorada mine in Sonora, Mexico, and the Florida Canyon mine in Nevada.
