The Mining Innovation Commercialization Accelerator (MICA) launched a cross-Canada name for proposals for high-impact, modern clear applied sciences for the mining trade. The group has a mandate to offer funding for such initiatives.
Proposals are sought in 4 technical areas: easy methods to enhance mine manufacturing at decrease prices; easy methods to scale back mining power consumption and greenhouse gasoline (GHG) emissions; easy methods to implement sensible, autonomous mining methods; and easy methods to scale back environmental danger and long-term liabilities.
